Located in the resort center at the base of lift 1. The Tenderfoot Katie marketplace offers affordable grab and go breakfasts and lunches as well as an abundance of unique made to order options.
To access the Ridge at Taos Ski Valley requires a short but lung-punching hike above Chair 2 that hovers around 12,000 feet. From there, hikeable terrain spiders to the east and west, unlocking chutes and bowls and tree stashes that would seemingly take a lifetime to explore in detail. They are the most wild and rugged lines in Taos that take a bit of effort to get to—and not just from the physical realm.
The Phoenix Grill BBQ restaurant, located at the base of lift 4 on the backside of the mountain, is your destination of choice.
Located at the base of lift 4 is The Bavarian, known for its authentic German dining & lodging.
The crown jewel of Taos Ski Valley, 12,481' Kachina Peak stands tall above the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. The Kachina Peak summit is legendary and offers some of the most spectacular views and inbounds skiing and riding in North America. Historically demanding a 45 minute hike, the Kachina Peak Lift now delivers skiers and riders to the peak in just 5 minutes.
