Rio Grande del Norte National Monument

Get ready to have fun this summer

The Rio Grande del Norte National Monument is the 242,555 acres of open public land that stretches out beyond the town of Taos. The rugged landscape is dotted with geological formations and tucked away canyons; including the Rio Grande Gorge. Get an up-close view of the 650-foot drop from the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, which is the 5th highest bridge in the U.S. Vendors next to the bridge set up booths selling local art and jewelry so chances are you’ll walk away with more than just some jaw-dropping photos.
