Taos has a long tradition of hosting adventurous ski councils and clubs from all over the world. Drawn by New Mexican hospitality, iconic mountain terrain and rich culture unlike anywhere else, Taos is the perfect winter destination. Serviced by three airports ( Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Taos Municipal), getting to Taos is easier than ever.
Clubs now have a variety of lodging options including the new slopeside alpine retreat, The Blake at Taos Ski Valley located in the heart of the revitalized village. In Taos Ski Valley, there are a number of cozy condo-hotels and value accommodations. Lodging options are also available in the historic Town of Taos just 30 minutes away).
What sets Taos apart is the Ernie Blake Snowsports School Ski Week experience that many clubs take advantage of. This weeklong immersive experience is part Olympic-level coaching, part interpretative tour, and all about building comradery with friends, the mountain and Taos’s amazing rich history.

The quaint size of Taos Ski Valley, coupled with the Ernie Blake Snowsports School and the new state-of-the-art Children’s Center make Taos a great stop for groups with kids of all ages. From multi-generation family vacations to custom school or scout groups, the Taos Sales Team can work with your group to design a multi-day adventure. For groups of 20 or more, special rates available on lift tickets, lessons, rentals and meeting space.

Whether it is early December or spring break, university and college groups will love the diverse terrain at Taos Ski Valley, intimate apres-village and close proximity to restaurants, breweries and unique Southwestern watering holes in the Town of Taos. The infamous Bavarian deck is a must-do and Taos has been rated as “the best spring skiing” in the country by Outside Magazine 2011.
The newly opened hotel at the base of Lift 1, The Blake at Taos Ski Valley elevates the Taos experience. This 80-room alpine retreat features 24-hour hausmeister service, valet parking, ski valet, heated saltwater pool, and hot tubs. Group rates available.
A perfect way to bond as a group is to learn together. The world-renowned Ernie Blake Snowsports School can enhance your group outing. Seasoned instructors provide interpretative experiences along with technical ski and snowboard coaching. Group rates available.
