On Top of Lift #7
jonah'S 5:00 AM UPDATE | SUNDAY, February 16TH
Good morning. This is your morning snow report update – brought to you by Audi of Albuquerque.
It’s currently 20 degrees with clear skies at the base; we’re expecting a high of 32 this afternoon and a low of 18 degrees by this evening. We received 0" of snow last night but you shouldn't have any trouble finding some fresh pow lines. We expect bluebird days up until Tuesday night.
Currently, 14 of 14 lifts are scheduled to open today. We have 110 trails officially open for the day. That's 14 lifts serving over 100 runs and 2 terrain parks. West Basin Ridge and Highline Ridge are both scheduled to be open for hiking, where you will find world-class steep-terrain skiing.
Roads to the mountain are plowed and sanded, and as always, traction tires are recommended.
For those of you joining us today, Tenderfoot Katie’s is open for breakfast and lunch. The Bavarian Restaurant is open from 11:30 to 7 PM; and 192 is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and your dining reservations can be made on Yelp.
Junior Freeride athletes will descend on Taos Ski Valley February 20 — 23, 2020 for an International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association (IFSA) sanctioned Regional and National Junior Freeride Competition presented by Taos Ski Valley and Rocky Mountain Freeride Series. To learn more, check out the Events Calendar at SkiTaos.com.
Ski The Change. We look forward to seeing you on the slopes.
