Will my group be split up based on ability?

No. Your group will stay together and will move at the pace of the lowest-level rider. If you know there is a large ability gap, please reserve separate lessons.

What Time Should I arrive? Where Do I check in for my lesson?

Lessons begin at 10AM. If you are getting rentals, we recommend arriving between 9:30AM and 9:45AM to have time to get all your gear and begin your lesson on time. Lessons will check-in at Kachina Sports.

How fast will i be going?

As fast as you want! We can go at your pace and build speed as you get more comfortable.

Can i use my own bike/helmet?

Yes! Rentals are included in the lesson, but if you are more comfortable on your bike, you are welcome to use it. Your instructor may recommend that you use a rental bike and helmet.

Do I need to have mountain biking experience?

No. Ideally, you are comfortable riding a bike, have used hand brakes before, and are ready to learn a new skill.
