Day Tickets

Due to the November 13, 2020 NM Public Health Order which requires outdoor recreation facilities to close for 14 days, Taos Ski Valley will no longer start its winter season Nov 26th.  When Public Health Orders are lifted and allow ski resorts to open in Taos County, the resort will coordinate and mobilize its operations as quickly as possible, with a focus on ensuring best COVID-Safe Practices. Taos Ski Valley anticipated irregularities in its operations this season due to COVID-related closures, and has developed plans to be nimble and efficient in the face of uncertainty this year. We look forward to welcoming guests on the mountain soon, and we encourage everyone to stay safe and healthy at home right now. 

At the moment you can still buy tickets on-line for any time this season the period beginning December 16th. Any tickets purchased for a date on which we are closed due to a New Mexico state closure will be fully refunded per our refund policy.

Refund Policy 

We understand this is an uncertain time and committing to your next vacation is more complicated than it was before the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to alleviate concerns regarding cancellations caused by COVID-19 we have implemented changes to our cancellation policies as follows: 

If cancelled more than 14 days ahead of first day of usage, we will issue a full refund. All reservations cancelled within the Cancellation Window, we will not offer a refund or a voucher. 

COVID-19 Illness 

If you are required to cancel your reservation within the timeframe that we usually charge a cancellation fee due to a positive COVID-19 in your travelling party we will kindly request the positive test result and issue a refund. 

COVID-19 Travel Ban 

If a travel ban is implemented that restricts travel to or from your place of origin, we will request the updated government mandate for verification we will issue a refund. 

COVID-19 Mandated Close 

Any voluntary or mandated closure of Taos Ski Valley, due to an increased concern for public safety, triggered by a resurgence of the COVID-19 virus will result in a refund of any unused lift tickets, lessons or rentals, and applicable taxes and fees, for reservations affected and within the dates of said closure. We will request submission of any partially used items to the applicable department in order to process a refund request. No documentation of the COVID closure is necessary to receive a refund and guests will be notified of the closure as soon as possible.

Thanksgiving Tickets for Unlimited Pass Holders 

All Unlimited passholders will receive an email from support@skitaos.com with instructions on how to reserve tickets for Thanksgiving weekend.  Please keep an eye on your inbox.
