ADAPTIVE RESOURCES
Taos Ski Valley welcomes skiers and riders of all abilities, offering adaptive lessons that help guests with physical and cognitive disabilities experience the mountain with confidence.
ADA ACCESSIBILITY & SERVICES
Our team of knowledgeable Reservation Agents can recommend ways to navigate the resort, dining, lodging, adaptive snowsports, and activities.
LESSONS
Skiers and riders of all ages and abilities can learn one-on-one with our adaptive pros through a Private Adaptive Lesson. Our trained instructors assess, equip, and coach each student based on their specific needs, abilities, and learning style. We recommend booking in advance so we can match you with the right instructor and gear.
ICE SKATING
Ice skating is fun for all ages and abilities. We offer the Skate Helper, a supportive aid that gives skaters extra stability on the ice. Wheelchairs and adaptive skating equipment, such as ice sleds, adaptive skates, and skate trainers with harnesses, are welcome too.
PARKING
ADA parking is available in the Coyote Parking Lot, near the pickup and drop-off zone. From there, it's a short trip to Thunderbird Road, which connects to the main pedestrian path.
You'll also find a few ADA spaces on Firehouse Road near the Children's Snowsports School at the Rio Hondo Learning Center. At the Bavarian, ADA parking is next to the deck and restroom building.
Need a hand? Our Parking Attendants in orange vests are happy to help.
