Acro Yoga with Alana Lee & Matt Salzman
AcroYoga is a physical practice done with a partner which combines yoga, Thai massage, gymnastics, and acrobatics. Learn to fly! It's fun and easy & anyone can do it! All ages & levels welcome. No experience or partner needed. Why lift weights when you can lift your friends? Fly, stretch & breathe & play! We will learn a sequence of foundational poses with an emphasis on proper technique & alignment. A solid foundation is needed to build a strong Acrobatic Yoga practice so we will focus on strength, conditioning & hand balancing to awaken all the proper muscles needed to get upside down & off the ground, with a little help from your friends! Whether you are beginner or advance come refine technique. We will do poses that elongate the spine & relieve stress & tension for both the base & flyer! Come prepared to have fun & leave feeling alive!

Join Aura for this energizing, uplifting flow designed to move your body, your breath and elevate your mood.
Nature writing with Johanna Debiase
Nature Writing is a way to tune in more deeply with ourselves, the environment, and our connection with nature. Taos has a rich literary history of authors from around the world who found creative inspiration in our beautiful and unique surroundings, including D.H. Lawrence, Aldo Leopold, and Willa Cather. My class will teach you my unique method of generating inspired writing, which includes guided meditation, creative visualization, and experiencing nature firsthand.
We will meet at the Base of Lift 1 and begin with an orientation where I will guide you to create your own personal intention for the day. After a guided meditation to ground and center, we will walk along a nature trail, allowing time and space to open all our senses to the natural world around us.
Following the walk, we will gather in the shade to write. I will discuss the craft of nature writing to give you tools to work with and I will read from some of my favorite nature writers. Writing exercises are interspersed with short guided meditations to bring us back to our bodies and back to nature. All writing is stream-of-consciousness and free of judgement. No writing experience needed, only an open mind and the desire to create.
Bring paper, a writing device, water, and wear comfortable clothes suitable for hiking.
