Payment Plans

Lock in next season's fun now and pay over the next 6 months!

When purchasing your pass, you can choose a payment plan that splits the total amount of the pass into 6 even payments made over 6 months rather than paying the total amount upfront. See below for more tips and questions. 

Payment Plan F.A.Qs

Does my pass cost more if i sign up for a payment plan? 

No! Utilizing a payment plan does not increase the total price of your season pass. There is no interest charged on your pass. 

Please note, if opting in to Season Pass Assurance, the total cost of the Assurance ($30) will be added to your first payment. 

how do I sign up for a payment plaN?

Payment plans may only be purchased online. When purchasing your season pass online, you will be given the option to elect a payment plan prior to checking out. 

can i pay my pass off early? 

Yes! When you sign in to your payment plan portal, you have the ability to manage your payments including making additional payments to pay off your pass early.

Can I change my payment method?

Yes. Simply sign in to your payment plan portal to manage your payment method. 

If i'm buying passes for multiple people, can i use a payment plan for all of them?  

Yes. You can utilize the payment plan for the total sum of the cart. 

Can I use my summer benefits if i'm on a payment plan?  

No. Only passes paid in full may use the Summer 23 benefits. 

what are the payment methods for the payment plans?

Payment plans can be done via credit card.

how will the payment appear on my STATEMENT? 

The recurring charge will appear as "Taos Season Pass Sales" 

what day of each month will the payment be pulled?

Payments will be pulled on the same day of the month that you made your first purchase. (i.e. if you purchase your pass on March 23rd, the second payment will be made on April 23rd).

Can I use a payment plan to purchase other experiences?

No. Season Pass Payment Plans are only valid on Season Pass items. If you have other items in your cart, they will be charged in full at the time of purchase in addition to the first installment of your first Season Pass payment. 

What happens if I miss a payment?

If a payment is missed, you will receive an email from noreply@accesso.com as a notification that payment is delinquent with instructions for updating your payment method. A second attempt will be made using the payment method on file seven (7) days later.

Failure to complete full payments as agreed upon will result in forfeiture of previous payments. Season Passes will only be issued to guests who have paid in full. 

If you purchased Season Pass Assurance and need to stop payments for a qualified reason, you will be refunded the amount you have paid up to the date of the claim.

By opting in to our new Season Pass Assurance, passholders will be able to receive a prorated reimbursement for the purchase price of a pass for qualified reasons. Passes purchased without Pass Assurance are nonrefundable and nontransferable for any reason.

What are examples of qualified reasons for filing a claim?

Acceptable reasons include:

  • An unexpected and verified injury or illness that prevents you from utilizing your pass
  • You or a family member are called to active military duty or emergency service as a reservist
  • Transfer of employment that required relocation
  • Involuntary termination or layoff by your employer

When can I purchase Season Pass Assurance?

Season Pass Assurance may only be purchased at the time of purchasing the pass. You must select to opt-in during the purchase process. 

How do I use my Season Pass Assurance?

Email contactus@skitaos.com to request reimbursement - to expedite the request, please include documentation that supports your request. All reimbursement requests must be received within 30 days of the qualifying event and submitted before March 15th, 2024.

How is the reimbursement amount determined?

The Season Pass Assurance reimbursement is determined using the purchase price of the pass less days used calculated at $100 a day. 

What happens after my claim is approved?

Your pass will be deactivated for the remainder of the season. You will receive a refund to the original form of payment at the calculated reimbursement rate.

Can I cancel my Season Pass Assurance for a refund if I change my mind?

No. Season Pass Assurance is non-refundable.

Does Season Pass Assurance cover a complete resort closure?

No; however, in the event of a complete resort closure similar to COVID-19, TAOS Ski Valley will asses a new policy at that time.

  • Pass prices do not include tax
  • All pass types are non-transferable and non-refundable without Season Pass Assurance
  • 80+ and 6 and under passes will be available on Winter 24 Opening Day
  • 6 and under pass only available with the purchase of an adult pass
  • All age categories are determined by the passholder's age on date of purchase
  • Kachina Plus Ikon Base Pass benefit is not eligible for upgrades to the Ikon Base Plus Pass, Ikon Pass, or eligible for Adventure Assurance. Use and access requires primary pass product to be in good standing. Non-transferrable. Valid for the 2023-24 season only. Not eligible for spring 2023 access 
  • $30 for lost pass replacement
  • Two (2) complimentary replacement tickets for forgotten, lost, or misplaced pass
  • Military, 1st Responder, Zia, & Senior Pass variations require proof of identification and/or appropriate credentials
  • All skier/ride days and available terrain are subject to change based on weather conditions

CAN I USE MY WINTER 24 SEASON PASS DURING THE WINTER 23 SEASON?

Winter 24 passes that have been paid in full can be used 3/27 to 4/9 of the Winter 23 season. 

What are the universal (season-long) benefits for all passholders?

  • 10% off The Blake - 14-day advance booking required. Discount applies to the room charge only and cannot be applied to packages. Blackout dates apply including all holiday weeks and weekends. Limited availability per day. Book early to ensure availability. Subject to availability, taxes, and fees.
  • 15% off at Taos Ski Valley-owned dining outlets. Not valid on alcohol. 
  • 10% off Summer 23 Activities including scenic lift tickets and Via Ferrata tours. 
  • 15% off Snowsports Class Programs. Not Valid on Private Lessons

what are the additional summer 23 benefits for kachina plus passholders?

  • One (1) scenic chair lift ticket 
  • 25% off a Via Ferrata private guide. 

how do i use my credit at the blake that comes with my kachina plus pass?

Kachina Plus passholders who have paid in full may call 888.262.8398 to have the $250 credit applied to your lodging reservation. Guests may use this credit beginning May 25, 2023, when The Blake opens for summer and may be used through the Winter 24 season based on availability. 

Only passholders ages 18+ qualify for the credit. Reservations at The Blake must be made at least 14 days in advance.

What is the refund policy?

Winter 24 season passes are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason without Season Pass Assurance. If the passholder opted-in to Season Pass Assurance at the time of purchase, their pass is fully-refundable if unused and reimbursed a prorated amount calculated by days used for qualified reasons.

What are the blackout dates for value, midweek, and high noon?

For Value and High Noon passholders, the blackout dates are 12/26/23-12/31/23, 1/13-1/14/24, 2/17-2/18/24, and 3/9-3/17/24. Midweek passholders can ski/ride Monday through Thursday with the following blackout dates: 12/26/23-12/31/23, 1/13-1/14/24, 2/17-2/18/24, and 3/9-3/17/24.

What if I want to upgrade my pass?

If you would like to upgrade your pass, please call our reservations team at 888.578.4704 or upgrade it in person at the Lake Fork Ticket Office. 

Please note, when upgrading a pass, the benefits and price will reflect the benefits and pricing at the date of the upgrade. Prices rise throughout the year. 

How & when do I get my pass?

Passes will be mailed only to New Mexico residents who purchased during the Spring Sale, have signed Winter 24 liability waiver, have a photo on file, and are paid in full. We will begin mailing passes on June 1, 2023. If you have not received your pass by October 31st, 2023, please contact our reservations department by emailing reservations@skitaos.com or calling 877.426.5146.

For all other passholders who have paid in full, passes may be picked up at the Lake Fork Ticket Office between March 27th and April 9 or after May 26, 2023 during normal business hours.

how do i redeem my ikon base pass that comes with my kachina plus pass?

All Kachina Plus passholders will receive an email in the late fall with detailed instructions on how to redeem their Ikon Base Pass. If you have not received an email by November 1, 2023, please email our central reservations team at reservations@skitaos.com.

How do i redeem the buddy tickets that are part of my season pass benefits?

Winter 23 $75 Buddy Tickets are valid 3/27/23 - 4/9/23.

Taos Season Pass Buddy Tickets will be available to purchase on November 1st, 2023. An email will be sent to all passholders with detailed instructions on how to purchase online. 

What is the mountain collective reciprocity benefit?

The Mountain Collective Reciprocity benefit provides Kachina Plus and Kachina passholders the option to purchase lift tickets at 23 participating Mountain Collective resorts at 50% off window rate. Passholders present their qualifying Winter 24 Taos Season Pass at the appropriate ticket location at the participating resort to redeem. To learn more about the pass, visit mountaincollective.com.

How do I use my $85 tickets at Arapahoe Basin that come with my Kachina/Kachina Plus Pass?

Visit Arapahoe Basin's ticket page, select "Taos Passholder," and proceed through the checkout process.
