HERE AT TAOS SKI VALLEY, WE KNOW THAT AN APPRECIATION FOR THE MOUNTAINS RUNS DEEPER THAN SKIING AND RIDING
That’s why we are committed to protecting our local environment by practicing environmentally friendly habits throughout all areas of the resort. Taos Ski Valley is the first major ski resort to become a certified B Corp. This certification helps ensure that Taos Ski Valley meets the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, sustainability, public transparency, and legal accountability. Becoming a B Corp also means that our long-held values of inclusion, sustainability, and respect for all are validated. By practicing reverence for our local environment, we hope to promote a more resilient and robust community that celebrates the region’s rich, diverse culture.
World's FIRST B CORP SKI RESORT
Taos Ski Valley is the first ski resort in the world to achieve B Corp certification. As a trailblazer in the industry, we hope our efforts inspire mountain communities around the world. Beyond environmental sustainability, our commitment as a B Corp extends to promoting positive connections with local communities and creating financial sustainability within our eco-sphere. Taos believes that business is a force for good and we owe it to future generations by taking action today.
Being a B Corporation is so much more than environmental stewardship. We pledged to be a force for good for everyone. We adopted a business philosophy aimed at benefiting our employees, our visitors, and our community through social responsibility, environmental sensitivity, and economic sustainability.
