On-Mountain Pre-Arrival Information

Here you’ll find everything you need for your arrival, including information about your tickets, lessons, childcare, rentals, and more.

LIFT TICKETS

TICKETS PURCHASED ONLINE

Print your online lift tickets at any Pick Up Box around the resort. Just open your confirmation email, click "PRINT CONFIRMATION" to pull up your QR code, and scan it at the box. Then you're ready to ride.

TICKETS PURCHASED OVER THE PHONE

Pick up your lift tickets at the Lake Fork Ticket Office in the Lower Plaza. Please bring your confirmation email, either printed or on your phone. The ticket office is open daily from 8AM to 4PM.

SPECIALTY TICKETS

If you have a specialty ticket, such as Mountain Collective, Ikon Friends & Family, or a 6 & under ticket, head to the Lake Fork Ticket Office in the Lower Plaza. Our team will be happy to help you get set up. The ticket office is open daily from 8AM to 4PM.

LIFT SAFETY

Kids under 50" tall should ride the lift with an adult and wear a kinderlift vest, available at Taos Sports. Watch this short video together before you arrive. It's a great refresher for every skier.

RENTALS

Your rentals will be waiting for you at Taos Sports, on the plaza level of The Blake next to Lift 1. Storage lockers are also available to rent by the day at Taos Sports.

If you'd like a head start, you can pick up your rentals the evening before your reservation, between 3PM and 5PM.

CHILDREN'S LESSONS

All children's lessons start with check-in at the Rio Hondo Learning Center.

To give your child plenty of time to get geared up and onto the snow, please arrive no later than 8AM. Lessons start promptly at 9:30AM. Half-day lessons end at 12PM, and full-day lessons end at 3:30PM.

Lift tickets and rentals are included with your Children's Class Lesson, and full-day lessons include lunch too. After check-in, your child will get their rentals at Taos Sports on the plaza level of The Blake.

Snowsports Office Hours: 8AM - 4PM daily Taos Sports Hours: 8AM - 5PM daily

ADULT LESSONS

  • All adult lessons start with check-in at the Adult Snowsports Office in the Snakedance Condos, next to Lift 1.
  • Lessons begin promptly at 9:30AM.
  • If you're renting gear, check in at the Snowsports Office first, then head to Taos Sports on the plaza level of The Blake to pick up your rentals. Please arrive no later than 8AM so you have plenty of time to get set up before your lesson.
  • Snowsports Office Hours: 8AM - 4PM daily
  • Taos Sports Hours: 8AM - 5PM daily

PRIVATE LESSONS

  • All private lessons start with check-in at the Adult Snowsports Office in the Snakedance Condos, next to Lift 1.
  • Private lessons meet at 9AM or 1PM outside the Adult Snowsports Sales Office by the red PRIVATE flag, unless arranged otherwise with your instructor.
  • If you're renting gear, check in at the Snowsports Office first, then head to Taos Sports on the plaza level of The Blake, next to Lift 1, to pick up your rentals. Please arrive no later than 8AM or 12PM so you have plenty of time to get set up before your lesson.
  • Snowsports Office Hours: 8AM - 4PM daily
  • Taos Sports Hours: 8AM - 5PM daily

CHILDCARE

Childcare check-in is at the Children's Snowsports School in the Rio Hondo Learning Center, downhill from the main base area. As you enter the parking lot, you'll find it on your right. Just follow the signs, and our parking staff are always happy to point you in the right direction.

Check-in is on the bottom floor between 8AM and 10AM.

To help your child have a great day, please bring and label any personal items they'll need, such as diapers, wipes, formula, and a lovie.
