FULL DAY OF CULTURE STAY THE NIGHT & EXPLORE MORE

To get the full experience of the region, we recommend staying for a few days. Make The Blake your basecamp for adventure and outings.

  1. MORNING PUEBLO TRIP

Hugging a small branch of the Rio Grande River, Taos Pueblo is the only living Native American community designated both a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a National Historic Landmark. Roughly 1000 years old, the Pueblo Indian settlement is a powerful reflection of the cultural richness of Taos.

  1. LUNCH AT THE BAVARIAN

There is no better way to close out your morning at Taos Ski Valley than with a refreshing lunch at The Bavarian. Make sure to start your meal with a pretzel…always a Bavarian favorite!

  1. AFTERNOON EARTHSIP TOUR

Earthships have been described as “the epitome of sustainable design and construction.” These buildings may seem surreal and transcendental but they were consciously built with natural and reclaimed materials and use thermal and solar heating and cooling and solar and wind electricity. The people who call them home are happy to share their creations with visitors. Take a tour, or try sustainable living and stay for a night.

  1. TOUR OF THE BLAKE ART COLLECTION

Taos Ski Valley's best kept secret. The Blake has an impressive collection of Norther New Mexico artwork, which we wncourage everyone to come and see.

  1. DINNER AT 192

Before and after outdoor adventure, this is your space to connect while savoring shareable dishes and inspired wines. Centered around a communal kiva fireplace, this inviting, intimate dining and social hub radiates international flare—rustic European alpine architecture folded into colorful New Mexican design.

  1. EXPLORING DOWNTOWN | LUNCH & MUSEUMS

Foodies have been traveling to Taos for decades in order to enjoy the diverse options that this region provides. After lunch make sure you take some time to explore the historic Taos Plaza where shops and art galleries are abundant and you will almost definitely find a keepsake to go home with.
